Erica was raised just north of Pittsburgh, PA, and found her way to Connecticut for college. Post graduation, her first opportunity in the field of communication was with WTIC-TV Fox Channel 61 in Hartford, CT. From there she took a risk and moved to New York City, working first as a media buyer for accounts such as Kraft General Foods, Warner Brothers, Amtrack, and Burger King. Then, over to the sales side of advertising managing inventory for up to 18 television stations in 14 different cities across the county including Hawaii.
She and her husband were in New York City on 9/11 with her husband exiting the World Trade Tower subway station moments before the 2nd plane hit the second Trade Tower. That day was surely a factor in their decision to move back to Erica’s hometown before their toddlers started school.
While raising their 2 children Erica started and worked in 3 small home-based businesses: a custom bracelet company, a 3-product organic skincare line called “no junk skincare” and a home organizing company called iOrganize. She started all of this 2003 when her son was 1. In 2012 she entered the world of residential real estate where she worked for almost 12 years and ended her career with Sotheby’s International Realty in Pittsburgh.
During this time, on December 7, 2020, one morning, post-shower, she looked at her face in the mirror and decided right there to make a change. She also took a picture.
The Pandemic had struck, it was the holiday season and Erica was only 3 months away from turning 50. She randomly changed 1 bad habit which led her on an unexpected yet fulfilling personal journey. She took another jump from a lucrative career in sales to a business dream of working on her schedule from anywhere in the world.
Her no-nonsense Life Coaching for Grown-Ups program is designed to help adults get their lives together. Erica created, lives, and continues to develop this program daily. For that reason, most of Erica’s business for 30 years has been referral-based or with repeat clients.
She recently joined the family at Hype Media Global hosting “life coaching for grown-ups” on WDJY 99.1 FM in Atlanta, every Monday at 10am.
Erica and her husband have been together for over 30 years and have 2 almost-grown children, a dog and a cat. Shs has held the honor of performing 4 Wedding Ceremonies in the state of Pennsylvania.
The pandemic had struck, it was the holiday season, and my 50th birthday was only 3 months away. I randomly changed one bad habit, which led me on an unexpected fulfilling personal journey.
